If you only have a week to spend in Europe I recommend staying in one region to maximize your time. Today I am sharing the top five regions in Europe I love to visit. Let’s kick things off with region #1.
I spent over a week there a few years ago, went all over the place, and loved it.
Spain is comprised of several regions — Catalonia is one of the better known.
It includes the capital city of Barcelona. Barcelona is beautiful. Catalonia is full of other wonderful sites to see. Get around and see the local area.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I love traveling to Europe. I consider it my playground. Today I am sharing the top five European countries I love to visit. Let’s kick things off with country #1.
My favorite country to visit in Europe is Germany.
My family comes from Germany and I lived there for several years.
I always have a great time when I am in Germany. One main reason — the beer is world-class. Germany is full of sites to see.
I am a big fan of German food. It is heavy and heavenly. Schweinhaxen is…
Last month I wrote about the fact that crafting a winning strategy is what strong leaders do. The next series of blogs will describe in more detail how to formulate your team’s strategy as a leader. This month we will begin with the basic concept.
A plan of action designed to achieve a major or overall aim.
Basic definition of strategy
Have you ever worked for a leader who does not know what a strategy is…really? No one trained him, and it showed. For example, I worked for one leader who had no clue. He knew it, I knew it…
Anyone who knows me well knows that I love traveling to Europe. I consider it my playground. Today I am sharing the top five reasons I love traveling to Europe. Let’s kick things off with reason #1.
Keating is an Irish name. Even though my grandfather was adopted, we still believe there are Irish roots in our Keating clan.
My mom is German. She is a first-generation immigrant. One reason I enjoy traveling to Europe is to gain perspective regarding where my family came from.
I am not saying that you need to go to Europe. No — go…
There seems to be a lot of negativity in the world these days.
2020 was a crappy year. I think we are feeling the effects of it now.
I don’t want to contribute to the negativity.
No — I would rather talk about things I love and am passionate about, hoping that others do the same.
Today I am writing about the game I love the most — soccer. Or, as the rest of the world calls it football.
I love all kinds of sports. I grew up playing and…
Take a moment right now and think about a strong leader you know. Someone you truly enjoyed working for. Ask yourself a basic question about this leader. Does she know how to craft a winning strategy? I bet the answer is yes. Strong leaders win. Now think about a weak leader you know well. Someone you did not enjoy following. Ask yourself the same question. Did he select a winning strategy? Your answer probably changed to no. It is difficult to follow someone who does not know how to win. Losing sucks. It always has and always will.
2021 has not been a dull year so far. I am already a little car sick from all the ups and downs.
To sum up 2021 so far in a single word — weird.
I know, not the most eloquent choice. You probably understand what I mean.
I think we all have high hopes for this year. I know that I do.
Still hard to tell how 2021 will play out, especially with all the weirdness going on, and I am not even going to talk about anything political.
We passed weird a few exits ago on the national political…
For some reason, I thought that things would magically improve this year. They have not.
In fact, it feels like things may be getting worse — no progress.
Think about what happened last month at the National mall — a riot that spilled into the halls of congress.
That whole scene was crazy.
2020 was full of surprises for all of us. I doubt anyone anticipated what happened last year.
I certainly did not. How hard 2020 would end up did not really sink in for me until around April of last year.
I spent the rest of the year trying to keep my head above water. I cannot complain many people had a tougher year than me.
Nonetheless, I want 2021 to be a better you for me. I bet that you do as well.
I am sharing the process I use for my annual goals.
Hopefully, it helps you make…
2020 was a punch to the gut for most of us. I doubt anyone finished the year and said that was an awesome year.
Some things perhaps went better for you. While other parts of your life were derailed during 2020.
Personally, 2020 was a mixed bag for me — some good and a little bad. I cannot complain many people had a tougher year than me.
None the less, I want 2021 to be a better you for me. I bet that you do as well.
I am sharing the process I use for setting my annual goals…
